Starting this month, I will attempt to release a new recipe once a month. Enjoy!

Kahlúa Trifle

Ingredients
1 box (German) Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix w/ pudding in the mix
2 boxes Chocolate Fudge Instant Pudding Mix
1 cup Kahlúa* coffee liquor
2-8 oz. tubs non-dairy whipped topping
1 egg, per mix instructions
1/4 cup vegetable oil, per mix instructions
3/4 cup water, per mix instructions
4 cups milk, 2% or whole

Directions
Prepare cake in two 9″ coated pans per instructions. Remove from pans after cooled. Rinse out used mixing bowl and prepare instant pudding in same bowl per instructions. Chill according to directions. When ready to assemble, find a large plastic or glass trifle bowl and break up 1 layer of cake. Pour half the Kahlúa over cake, add half the pudding, then add one 8 oz. tub of whipped topping. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Place in refrigerator for at least a couple of hours before serving, if possible, for best flavor.

Notes
Use the real stuff, I tried other coffee liquors and Kahlúa really is the best.
